Situated in the heart of the New Green Town of Benguerir, the Mohamed VI University will be one of the leading research hubs for global environmental research and development and will respect environmental quality and sustainable development principles. The development favours an organic layout similar to the medinas where a hierarchy of spaces and the creation of spatial ele- ments and varied volumes is possible. It relies on the contrast of light and shadow which takes into consideration natural elements (wind - sun - cold - rain) and creates the site's topography - the basis of the project
